Course Description
This class will prepare you for the French language evaluation in public service. We offer private and semi-private classes on Zoom. If you prefer in-person classes, please contact us for more details.
We will first assess your level and then tailor a customized program based on your needs and objectives. We use resources available online on the government website, as well as extra material provided during the class. Please note that:
– Our fees include the preparation of a customized program for each student.
– The duration to prepare for an exam varies from one student to the other, we will send you a quote based on a package of hours that can be renewed by the student.
What will I learn?
This program is designed to attain the A, B or C levels of bilingualism in the federal government. It will help you to achieve sufficient communicative competence to interact efficiently in French in day-to-day job-related tasks.
The program takes a communicative, task-oriented approach to learn a second language. It covers the main elements of language and communication including:
- Language functions
- Listening
- Vocabulary
- Grammar
- Phonology
- Communication strategies
- Writing
