How the hour goes
Sixty minutes, four things happen.
This is the same plan every Tuesday and Thursday. The only thing that changes is who is in the room.
- 0–5 min
Bonjour and a quick poll
The host greets everyone by name and asks where you are joining from. Vancouver, Calgary, Saskatoon, Toronto: the room is usually all over Canada.
- 5–30 min
Your first sentences in French
You learn to say your name, where you live and which languages you speak. Then whoever wants to tries it on mic. The host corrects gently and cheers every attempt.
- 30–45 min
How long it really takes
Six months to hold a conversation (B1, about CLB 5). Twelve months from zero to CLB 7 for Express Entry. What the classes look like, what is included, what it costs.
- 45–60 min
Ask anything, get a straight answer
Schedules in your time zone, joining at Level 3, switching online, installments, the exam itself. Plus a discount the team only announces in the room.
