Hybrid French classes in Surrey, from October 13th
Our first Surrey classroom opens at the Surrey Central Library, right beside the SkyTrain station. Fifteen seats, evening classes twice a week, a native teacher in the room, and the TEF/TCF path built in.

- Hybrid: 3 months in person (Levels 1 to 3), then the rest of the program online with the same teacher. The same concept as our Calgary program.

The first three levels are where speaking out loud matters most, so that is the part we put in a room. You learn the sounds, the first conversations and the habits of the language face to face, with a small group from your own city.
From Level 4 the same class continues live on Zoom, same teacher, same classmates, same schedule. Nothing changes except that you no longer have to leave the house on a rainy Thursday.
Twelve months, from bonjour to CLB 7
One route, two phases: foundations first (Levels 1 to 3 in Surrey or online, then online), then the exam itself, with a real milestone at the six-month mark.

CRS points on the table
Strong French is worth up to 50 CRS points on your Express Entry profile. For someone already working full time in Surrey, that is the most realistic way to close a gap English scores alone cannot.

Surrey takes in more new permanent residents than any other city in the province, and almost everyone in that group is drawing from the same federal Express Entry pool. A TEF or TCF score at CLB 7 is a PR advantage the person next to you does not have, and it is worth building before you apply, not after your file is already in.

Federal departments and Crown corporations in Metro Vancouver routinely list French as an asset or a requirement, on top of whatever your trade or profession already qualifies you for. Those roles stay closed to a strong English-only application, no matter how good the rest of the resume is.

Yes. From October 2026 our beginner classes meet in person at the Surrey Central Library, right beside the SkyTrain station, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 to 7:00 PM. The first cohort starts Tuesday October 13th. The format is hybrid: Levels 1 to 3 happen in the room (about 3 months); from Level 4 the rest of the program continues live online with the same teacher.
